Detect and react intelligently to changes in data with Drasi
We are excited to release Drasi, a data change processing platform, as…
Ever since the partnership announcement between Red Hat and Microsoft came about, we’ve been creating and collating various resources for users. This page will be used as a repository for such resources and other relevant information.
By using Red Hat on Azure, you can get the best of both worlds. You can add the power and scale of Azure to your Red Hat applications, and rely on Azure—the flexible, reliable, and open cloud platform—to quickly deploy them. You can also make the most of your Red Hat investments with a hybrid deployment model that lets you choose where to run your applications: on premises or in the cloud.
Customers can use Red Hat Cloud Access to bring their subscriptions to Azure and run Red Hat Enterprise Linux, Red Hat Enterprise Linux Atomic Host, Red Hat JBoss Enterprise Application Server, Red Hat JBoss Enterprise Web Server, Red Hat Gluster Storage, and OpenShift by Red Hat.
Coming Soon: Integrated support, Red Hat Cloud Forms for use with Azure and Microsoft System Center, .NET support in both Red Hat Enterprise Linux and Red Hat OpenShift, and other solutions.
In this webinar, you’ll hear directly from leaders in each company (Corey Sanders, Director of Program Management at Microsoft and Michael Ferris, Senior Director of Business Architecture, Red Hat) about what the Red Hat-Microsoft partnership means for you, the supported products and hear about plans for future initiatives.

“Microsoft Azure’s partnership with Red Hat was exciting news. We’ve got a good relationship with Red Hat and have been using its services for many years, and obviously we want to continue that relationship going forward.
With this in mind, the decision to choose Microsoft Azure as our cloud platform became even more obvious. We have moved our web servers to Microsoft Azure and we are able to deliver so much more to our patrons via the web.”
– Andrew Wroniak, Manager of the Centre’s Business Services, Adelaide Festival Centre
If you have an Azure subscription that is eligible for free monthly credits – please note that it can be used only for Azure services and not for any third party services like RedHat, Oracle, Linux VM’s. When you use a third party service, it will end up disabling your free subscription. The subscription disablement is to keep you aware that deploying a 3rd party service disabled your account, but you can reactivate it by removing the Spending Limit. By removing the Spending Limit, you authorize for any charges incurred on the 3rd party services deployed or any additional charges incurred on your Azure services more than the $200 free credits.
To learn more, read: How to remove Spending Limit on the Subscription.
