Back in November, we shared with the community that we had moved 18 certified Azure modules to azcollection. Today, we are happy to announce that we have completed the migration of more than 150 Ansible Azure modules to the Ansible Azure Collection: azcollection.
With the release of Ansible 2.9, Microsoft furthers its commitment to ensure that Azure provides excellent experiences for Ansible users when automating the provisioning and configuration of Azure resources.
Today at the Red Hat Summit, Microsoft announced a wide array of new services, including availability of Red Hat Enterprise Linux (RHEL) 8 images, SQL Server 2017 on RHEL 8, and the general availability of Ansible 2.8 and Certified Ansible Modules on Azure alongside the Azure Red Hat OpenShift GA.
As adoption of containers grows, we are getting more asks around running Jenkins on Azure Kubernetes Service (AKS.) To run Jenkins on a VM on Azure, you can use our solution template in Azure Marketplace. If you want to run Jenkins on AKS, I am happy to announce that you can now consider Jenkins X on AKS.
