Introduction Bitnami was recently invited to speak at a few Azure Meetups and we took that as an opportunity to demonstrate something cool. We love our partnership with Microsoft and are doing tons of great things together on Azure, Azure Container Service (AKS), Helm and in the Azure Marketplace.
Without established design patterns to guide them, developers have had to build distributed systems from scratch, and most of these systems are very unique. Today, the increasing use of containers has paved the way for core distributed system patterns and reusable containerized components.

What a great inaugural Helm Summit! This was a momentous occasion for the community. What started as a hackathon project just under three years ago now is having its own community-driven summit. We had close to 200 people gather in an uncharacteristically snowy and cold Portland, Oregon talking about all things Helm.
Beco, a Boston-based startup, is changing the way commercial real estate is managed, all while making the experience of living and working in a commercially managed property a lot more convenient and fun. And they are doing it with the help of Microsoft Azure and Portworx, the cloud native storage layer designed for containerized workloads.

The team that brought you Helm and Draft is announcing its newest open source Kubernetes-native tool, designed to help dev and ops get their work done quickly. It’s called Brigade and with it you can build any ordered workflow of containers in Kubernetes and trigger the workflow by listening for arbitrary events.
